What is Cliqra?

Cliqra is a platform for building your own private online space in minutes, with no code. Create a Room for a group that stays in touch and organized, or a public Page for sharing something with the world.

Who is Cliqra for?

Anyone who needs a space of their own without hiring a developer: teams, communities, clubs, families, event organizers, or a small business that wants a simple public Page. If you can drag and drop, you can build with Cliqra.

Do I need to install an app to use Cliqra?

No app-store download is needed today. You can add Cliqra’s icon to your phone’s home screen straight from the app, and it behaves just like a real app, with its own icon, full-screen opening, and push notifications. A dedicated app-store version is planned for later.

Getting started

Do I need to enter payment details to try Cliqra?

No. You can create an account and start on the Free plan without a credit card. You only pay when you’re ready to publish more than the Free plan allows.

How long does it take to set up my first Room or Page?

Most people are live within minutes. Pick a template or start from a blank canvas, drag in the blocks you want, and hit Publish.

What’s the difference between a Room and a Page?

A Room is a private space for a group. Members sign in to see it, chat, and take part in Discussions. A Page is public and built for visitors, with no login and no membership needed.

Can I turn a Room into a Page later, or vice versa?

No. The space type is set when you create it, since Rooms and Pages have fundamentally different membership and visibility models. You’d create a new one of the other type instead.

Do I need to verify my email to get started?

You can explore right after signing up, but some actions (like inviting members) may prompt you to verify your email first, since that’s how invitations and password resets reach you.

Plans & billing

What happens if I don’t renew my plan?

Nothing disappears overnight. You get reminder emails in advance, and a short grace period after your plan lapses. After that, your Rooms/Pages beyond what the Free plan allows move to Draft (hidden from members, but never deleted) until you renew.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?

Yes. Upgrading takes effect right away. Switching to a lower tier while your current term is still paid up is scheduled to start the moment that term ends, so you never lose time you already paid for.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments are processed securely through PayPal, which also supports paying by card without needing a PayPal account.

Will I get a receipt for my payment?

Yes. A confirmation email is sent automatically the moment a payment succeeds, and your full receipt history is always visible on your Account page.

Is there a free plan, or only paid tiers?

There’s a genuine Free plan. It’s more limited (fewer active spaces, less storage), but it’s not a time-limited trial.

Building your space

Do I need any design or coding skills to build a Room or Page?

No. Everything is drag-and-drop. You add pre-built blocks (text, images, buttons, calendars, and more) and arrange them visually, no code involved.

What kind of content blocks are available?

Headings, rich text, images and image sliders, video, buttons, FAQs, calendars, contact forms, and an HTML block for anything custom, plus a live Discussion board for Rooms.

Can I start from a template instead of a blank page?

Yes. There’s a template picker with ready-made layouts you can drop in and customize, and you can also save your own layout as a reusable template.

Does my work save automatically while I’m building?

Changes are saved when you click Save/Update, and everything supports undo/redo while you’re working, so you can experiment freely before committing.

Can I preview what my Room or Page looks like before publishing?

Yes. There’s a live Preview mode that shows exactly what visitors or members will see, separate from the editing view.

Visibility & access

Who can see my Room?

Only people you’ve invited as members. A Room can also be kept in Draft while you’re still building it, so nobody sees it until you publish.

Who can see my Page?

Anyone with the link, by default. A Page is meant to be public, and there’s no membership system for it, since it’s built for outside visitors.

Can I control whether Google finds my Page?

Yes. There’s a dedicated toggle for this, off by default. We recommend finishing the page first, then switching it on once it’s ready to be found in search results.

Can I customize how my Page looks when shared on WhatsApp or social media?

Yes. You can set a custom title, description, and share image for exactly that, instead of relying on what’s auto-detected from your content.

Can I let someone else help manage my Room without making them a full admin?

Yes. You can grant a member the Editor role, which lets them edit content and manage members without giving up your own ownership.

Communication

Can members chat with each other inside a Room?

Yes. There’s built-in direct and group messaging between members, separate from the public Discussion board.

What is the Discussion widget?

A live discussion board you can embed directly in your Room. Members can post, comment, and react, and it updates in real time without needing to refresh.

Will I be notified if someone mentions me?

Yes. @mentions (including @all to notify everyone) trigger a notification, and you can opt in to push notifications so you’re alerted even when the app isn’t open.

How do visitors contact me through my Page?

Through a Contact Form block you add to your Page. Every submission is emailed to you automatically, and also kept in a submissions tab inside the app so you never lose track of one.

Where do I see all my notifications in one place?

The Notification Center keeps a full history you can star, mark unread, or delete, beyond what fits in the quick bell dropdown.

Media & storage

Is there a limit on how much I can upload?

Yes, storage per Room/Page depends on your plan tier. You can always check your current usage on the Storage tab, which also blocks new uploads once you’re at the limit.

What file types can I upload?

Images, video, and audio (including voice notes in Discussion) are supported directly. Anything else can usually be linked to instead, which doesn’t count against your storage.

Insights

Can I see how many people are visiting my Room or Page?

Yes. The Analytics tab shows views, average time on page, and how many people are on it right now, filterable by date range.

Can I see where my visitors are coming from?

Yes. The Analytics tab breaks down traffic by source, device type, and country, alongside new-vs-returning visitor counts.

What if I run into a problem I can’t fix myself?

Reach out through the Contact Us link. Our support team can, with your knowledge, step in directly to help troubleshoot your specific Room or Page.
